Hotel Continental Forum Arad is an emblematic building for the city of Arad and is centrally located (km 0), on the main boulevard of the city, in the immediate vicinity of numerous public institutions and tourist attractions. The building was inaugurated in 1969, and the old name of the hotel was “Astoria”.
Near the hotel is located the river bank of Mureş and the Neptune Swimming Pool. Our oldest and loyal guests remember the time of the old Astoria, but are also delighted with the current 4 star service and usually stop by for having a refreshing beer on the terrace or a delicious cake in the cafeteria.
The year 1998 marks the entrance of the Astoria hotel in the Continental chain. In a relatively short time, the hotel was renovated and it became a comfortable and elegant 4-star hotel. Over the years, leaders of the Romanian state, presidents and prime ministers have been our guests. Also, King Mihai visit honored us in a special way.

Ioan Slavici Hall
The two conference rooms, Ioan Slavici A and Ioan Slavici B, have a modular setting and can be joined so that it can accommodate up to 200 people. Taken separately, each room can accommodate up to 100 people, hall A having an area of 93 square meters and hall B 115 square meters. Ioan Slavici halls are located on the mezzanine of the hotel and are suitable for trainings, workshops, business meetings or seminars.
Each of them is equipped with air conditioning and heating, free WiFi and the necessary equipment for a business meeting.
Vasile Goldiș Hall
With an area of 88 square meters, Vasile Goldiș room can host up to 100 people, making it the perfect choice for any kind of corporate event. The room features free WiFi and all modern equipments needed for a successful business event.

Intim Hall
For smaller events, Intim room can accommodate 50 guests and covers an area of 60 square meters. It is equipped with all the necessary technical equipment for a conference or a workshop.

With an area of 320 square meters and being located at the top floor of the hotel, the Panoramic lounge offers a great view over the city. The room’s configuration, the wide space and the elegant design allow the best conditions for any type of corporate event.
Gala Club Hall
